OPERATIONAL COMPLIANCE ASSURANCE
1. Minimum time frame required for the clearances

AA. *Origin of flight from a non-PRC Country*
(a) 01 Working days’ prior notice for Overfly & Technical Landing permit, if flight originating from any non-PRC Country.
(b) 03 Working days’ prior notice for flight ‎landing for Traffic purposes, if flight originating from any non-PRC Country.

BB. *Origin of flight from a PRC Country*
(c) 03 Working days’ prior notice for Overfly and Technical Landing permit, if flight originating from any PRC Country
(d) 07 Working days’ prior notice for flight landing for Traffic purposes, if flight originating from any PRC Country

CC. *The listed PRC Countries – Prior Reference Category (PRC) Countries*
(1) Afghanistan (2) China (3) Iran (4) Iraq (5) Nigeria (6) North Korea (7) Pakistan (8) Somalia (9) Sudan

DD. *Seasonal Overfly Block Permit*
Minimum time frame required by DGCA India is One Month, along with the following documents

Air Operator Certificate
C of R
C of A
Noise Certificate
Complete Schedule, along with ETD/ETA, ATS Routes, Entry/Exit Points, with Timings over the Indian Airspace
An Authorization letter from Operator, authorizing to liaise with all authorities concerned in India, as Its Local Representative, along with Signing Authority on behalf of the Operator in India.

EE. *Operations through Indian Military/Defense based airports*
Minimum time frame required by the Defense Authorities / DGCA. is approx. Fifteen days, and needs to submit complete
passport details of all crew members and ATS Route to be followed over Indian airspace, with the Defense authorities.

FF. *Medical Evacuation*
There is no time frame required for the permit of such operations, however Name of the Patient, Treating Doctor and the
Treating Hospital with address is mandatory.

GG. *ITP – Tourist Charter Operations*
Freedom Air provides complete assistance to the operators, as well as to the tour operators, in accordance with the
Guidelines laid down by the DGCA – India, for operating ITP Tourist Charter Flights through India. Also assist in filing of slots
request with concerned authorities, and follow-up to secure necessary operating permissions, including required slots well
in time.

HH. *Operations through Territorial waters*
There is no requirement to obtain flight clearances for aircraft operating outside the Indian territory, which includes the
territorial waters, but within the Indian Flight Information Regions (FIRs). Guidelines & Regulations

2. *Operations of direct international flights through Domestic Airports*

In case of a foreign registered aircraft operating through any Domestic airport in India, involving international arrival/departure, where the CIQ facilities are not available, prior clearances and a time frame will be required by the concerned Ministries/Govt. Departments in arranging the Customs, Immigration & Health facilities.

3. *Procedure to obtain DGR clearances* – Procedures for DGR

Needs to submit an application online either by the Airlines, Consigner or Consignee through above EGCA web portal, following the steps in the given link completing all required details, uploading all documents and DGR details under the services – 

“Permission for Carriage for Dangerous Goods by Air from/to/over India”:

Once the application is submitted successfully, it will provide an e-Application ID, which will help to verify the status of approval to carry DGR onboard.

4. *Crew and Passenger Visa*

Visa on arrival facility is not available at any airport in India. Crew members, irrespective of nationality, must hold valid Indian    Visas (Business category), either pasted on their passports, or holding e-Business category visa

The E-visa is generally valid for 01 year from the date of issue with multiple entry facility, and the latest guidelines along with list of eligible countries for applying online e-Visa is available on the web portal Indian e-Visa
